Architect – Full‑time, On‑site in Varanasi

About the role

Dezine Architects is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Architect to join its Varanasi office. The role involves leading the architectural design process from concept through construction, ensuring projects meet the firm’s standards of cultural sensitivity, innovation and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop design concepts and produce detailed architectural drawings.
• Coordinate integration of architectural plans with engineering, landscaping and interior design teams.
• Manage project phases from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
• Collaborate closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams to adapt designs to site‑specific conditions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in architectural design and project management.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with architectural design software and related design technologies.
• Familiarity with software development and integration concepts as applied to architectural projects.
• Knowledge of sustainable and energy‑efficient design principles (a plus).
