Site Supervisor

About the role

The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily construction activities, ensuring that work aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and schedules. This role requires strong supervision skills, coordination with engineering and project teams, and a focus on safety and quality on site.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction/site activities.
• Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Manage and guide site staff, laborers, and subcontractors.
• Maintain quality control for materials and workmanship.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules and site regulations.
• Coordinate with Site Engineer, Project Manager, and vendors.
• Track daily progress and prepare site reports and attendance.
• Handle basic measurement and material usage records.
• Identify site issues and report delays or risks promptly.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and discipline at the site.

Required profile

• Diploma / ITI / Certificate in Civil, Construction, or a relevant field (Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is an added advantage).
• 25 years of experience as a Site Supervisor.
• Experience on residential, commercial, or industrial projects is preferred.

Required skills

• Knowledge of construction methods, tools, and materials.
• Ability to read basic drawings and layouts.
• Awareness of safety norms and quality standards.
• Basic documentation and reporting skills.
