Junior Plumbing Engineer I

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Plumbing Engineer I to join our engineering team and support the design and documentation of plumbing and related systems for US‑based projects. The role offers the opportunity to apply mechanical engineering fundamentals while working with industry‑standard software.

Key responsibilities

• Design and layout engineering drawings within the plumbing specialty.
• Perform plumbing calculations for water supply, storm, and equipment sizing.
• Design sanitary waste, vent, storm, domestic water distribution, and purified water systems.
• Design gas distribution systems and select fire‑protection equipment.
• Conduct piping pressure‑drop and pump‑head calculations.
• Prepare schedules, quantity take‑offs, and detailed drawings.
• Perform clash detection and resolution.
• Maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, colleagues, clients, and visitors.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable university.
• Experience working on US projects.
• Knowledge of the International Plumbing Code (IPC).

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with Revit.
• Plumbing calculation expertise.
• Design of plumbing, gas, and fire‑protection systems.
• Pressure‑drop and pump‑head calculation skills.
• Clash detection and resolution.
• Quantity take‑off and scheduling.
