Electrician (Full‑time, On‑site)

About the role

Prabhat Construction is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Electrician to join its team in Kanpur. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to plan installations.
• Install wiring, cabling, switches, fixtures, and panels according to project specifications.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs on electrical equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, ensuring timely resolution.
• Maintain proper grounding, adhere to safety standards, and comply with local electrical codes.

Required profile

• Strong foundational knowledge of electricity and safe electrical practices.
• Hands‑on experience with wiring, fixture installation, and panel work in construction environments.
• Relevant technical certification or ITI/diploma in Electrical trade; licensed electrician status is a plus.
• Ability to work safely with tools, use PPE, and follow site safety protocols.
• Good communication skills and reliability when collaborating with site supervisors and other trades.
