ServiceNow HRSD Tester (Remote, Contract)

About the role

An experienced ServiceNow tester is sought to plan and run testing across ServiceNow implementations, enhancements, integrations and upgrades, making sure solutions meet functional, technical and business requirements. The role is remote and contract-based.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run test strategies, plans, cases and scripts for ServiceNow solutions
• Run functional, system, integration, regression, end-to-end and UAT testing
• Test ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, Service Catalog) and TPSM workflows, configurations and integrations
• Validate business rules, workflows, approvals, notifications, SLAs, forms and data flows
• Test integrations with third-party systems and validate data migration and integrations where applicable
• Document and track defects and work with developers, admins, business analysts and stakeholders to resolve them
• Translate requirements into test scenarios, run regression after changes, releases and upgrades, and maintain testing documentation and defect reports

Required profile

• Proven experience as a ServiceNow tester or QA analyst
• Hands-on experience testing ServiceNow ITSM and TPSM, and with implementations, enhancements or upgrades
• Understanding of testing methodologies, SDLC, defect management and QA processes
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Required skills

• ServiceNow platform architecture, workflows, configurations and integrations
• Creating test scenarios, cases and scripts; integrations and APIs (REST/SOAP)
• Desirable: ServiceNow CSA or CIS certification, ATF, Agile/Scrum, test automation tools, CI/CD and DevOps
