D365 F&O Senior Technical Consultant (HRM)

About the role

Sonata Software is looking for a D365 F&O Senior Technical Consultant with strong technical expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Human Resources capabilities. The consultant is responsible for the technical design, development, integrations, customizations, data migration, security, performance and technical delivery of HRM capabilities. The role requires strong hands-on experience in end-to-end D365 F&O / HRM implementations, covering technical design, development, integrations, data migration, testing, deployment and post-go-live support.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions for D365 HRM / Human Resources capabilities.
• Customize D365 F&O using X++, extensions, event handlers, forms, tables, classes, workflows, batch processes and data entities.
• Work with functional consultants, architects, product managers and business stakeholders to turn requirements into technical designs.
• Design and implement integrations between D365 and external or internal systems using D365 and Azure integration technologies.
• Develop and support DMF entities and data migration solutions, including legacy data migration, transformation, validation, reconciliation and cutover.
• Implement role-based security, duties, privileges and data-access controls.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to D365 development standards.
• Troubleshoot complex application, integration, batch, data and performance issues and optimize performance for high-volume processing, batch jobs, queries and integrations.
• Support build, deployment, environment management, release readiness and production support.
• Create technical design documents, deployment documentation, troubleshooting guides and handover documentation.
• Mentor junior developers and work in an Agile/Sprint-based delivery model across multiple HRM capabilities.

Required profile

• 7+ years of overall experience, with strong relevant experience in D365 F&O / AX technical development.
• Strong hands-on experience in end-to-end D365 F&O / HRM implementations.

Required skills

• Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations development, with strong expertise in X++ and the D365 extension framework.
• Visual Studio and D365 development environments.
• Azure DevOps for source control, branching, builds, work items and deployment.
• Azure integration technologies for enterprise D365 implementations.
• Data migration and high-volume data processing.
• Debugging, troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Understanding of the D365 application lifecycle, environment management, deployment and release processes.
