About the role
The Skillions is recruiting an SEO Lead for its client, based in Andheri MIDC, Mumbai. The role owns the SEO channel and builds a strategy to grow organic search visibility, drive qualified traffic and improve rankings. The salary is stated as up to 17 lakhs.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy covering on-page, off-page and technical SEO
- Build a link-building strategy to earn high-quality backlinks from reputable sources
- Monitor rankings, research keywords, analyse competition, run site audits and link analysis
- Work with the content team and the blog manager to create and optimise SEO-friendly content
- Check regularly for crawl errors, canonical issues, content duplication and bad redirects
- Produce weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports on SEO performance and insights
- Align SEO work with the wider digital marketing and business goals
Required profile
- 10 years of experience managing SEO (the text also says 10-5 years)
- E-commerce experience is a must
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Required skills
- Google Analytics, Google Search Console and SEMrush
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
