Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Specialist

About the role

The SEM Specialist manages, optimizes and analyzes paid search campaigns across various platforms. The ideal candidate understands PPC strategies well, has strong analytical skills and a proven track record of running successful campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and optimize paid search campaigns on Google Ads, Bing Ads and other PPC platforms
• Conduct research, manage bids and allocate budgets to maximize ROI
• Create compelling ad copy and creative assets aligned with campaign goals
• Monitor campaign performance with tools such as Google Analytics and platform dashboards
• Generate regular reports on CTR, CPC, CPA and ROI and use insights to improve performance
• Work with the marketing team to build paid search strategies and stay up to date with industry trends and algorithm updates
• Run A/B tests to improve ad performance and conversion rates
• Collaborate with the SEO team for a cohesive search strategy

Required profile

• 2-3 years of experience managing paid search campaigns
• Proven track record of successful PPC campaigns with measurable results
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Google Ads, Bing Ads and other PPC platforms
• Proficiency in Google Analytics and other web analytics tools
• Advanced Excel, including data analysis, reporting and dashboard creation
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong written and verbal communication
• Preferred: e-commerce experience, Google Ads certification and familiarity with social media and display advertising
