Senior Windows Administrator (SME)

About the role

We are looking for a senior Windows Administrator (SME) to provide expert‑level support for our Windows server environment. The role involves 24/5 shift coverage with on‑call and weekend rotation, ensuring high availability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot Windows‑based servers.
• Manage user accounts, apply system updates, perform data backups and ensure network connectivity.
• Implement and maintain security measures, applying patches, updates and service packs promptly.
• Monitor server performance metrics (CPU, memory, disk, network) and optimise system performance.
• Develop and execute backup and recovery strategies to guarantee data integrity.
• Create and maintain documentation, wikis and knowledge‑base articles.
• Provide 24/5 on‑call support, including weekend rotations.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Windows server administration.
• Proven ability to handle complex issues with minimal downtime.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
