Senior Technical Manager - Architecture

About the role

KEO, an AEP/PMCM architecture and project management and consulting firm, is looking for a Senior Technical Manager - Architecture to join its Design Division in Bangalore, India. The role provides senior technical leadership and support across the architectural team, ensuring consistent technical standards, quality, coordination and delivery across projects, and represents KEO in client-facing discussions on key technical matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the architectural team across multiple projects.
• Establish and maintain technical standards, procedures and best practices for architectural delivery.
• Lead and oversee technical reviews, QA/QC and design compliance throughout project stages.
• Support Project Architects and Design Managers in resolving complex technical and coordination issues.
• Review key architectural deliverables for quality, completeness, coordination and compliance.
• Help the team develop technical solutions, details, specifications, schedules and construction documentation.
• Coordinate with BIM, structural, MEP, interiors, landscape and specialist teams.
• Give technical input on codes, authority requirements, constructability, materials and building systems.
• Identify technical risks and support their resolution and mitigation.
• Develop and implement standard details, templates, workflows and smart tools and technologies.
• Mentor architects and technical staff and support resource planning and workload allocation.
• Represent KEO in client meetings, presentations and technical discussions, and travel as required.

Required profile

• 16 years of work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture and a Master's degree in Architecture.
