Junior Quantity Surveyor – Electrical

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Quantity Surveyor (Electrical) to join our Building Engineering practice. You will assist in cost estimation, measurement, and contract administration for electrical works in building projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct surveys to determine locations of natural and built features using electronic distance‑measuring equipment.
• Operate and manage land‑information computer systems, storing data, making inquiries, and producing plots and reports.
• Review survey team data on distances, angles, and elevations and verify accuracy.
• Research legal records to establish boundary lines.
• Assist in cost estimation, measurement, and contract administration for electrical works.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• 5–8 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in electrical systems.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision on routine tasks.

Required skills

• Cost estimation software.
• Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of electrical systems in building projects (lighting, power distribution, low‑voltage).
• Land‑information computer systems.
