Senior Electrical Engineer (Remote Work)

About the role

KEO, an AEP/PMCM firm recognised as a top international design and project management consultancy, is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its Infrastructure team. The role develops electrical design across the different stages of project design, and is open to candidates who can work remotely from outside the GCC or countries where KEO has no offices.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review designs for medium and low voltage power distribution and street lighting.
• Prepare and review telecom infrastructure duct routing.
• Ensure all calculations follow the authority standards and codes of practice for each project location.
• Coordinate and coach junior staff in the discipline, and guide CAD and BIM technicians in producing drawings and models.
• Prepare and review technical reports, design drawings and other deliverables, and manage the discipline's team.
• Monitor technical quality and coordinate with other disciplines for an integrated design.
• Liaise with clients and authorities for design approvals and provide input for technical proposals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and more than 10 years of experience in a similar position.
• Proven experience in infrastructure electric design.
• Membership of a professional institution is desirable.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Advantageous: Dialux, ETAP and other power systems software; BIM and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
