Regional Category Manager, Capital Construction (APAC)

About the role

The Senior Manager leads the India‑based GSP Category Execution Hub, driving commercial execution for APAC’s most complex capital construction programs. This role bridges strategy and execution, overseeing RFx processes, analytics, supplier governance, and scalable sourcing across India, Korea, Taiwan, and China.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and grow the India Hub team responsible for sourcing execution, cost modeling, analytics, and supplier performance.
• Own the full RFx lifecycle for construction, engineering, cleanroom, and fit‑out packages, setting negotiation strategy and ensuring commercial alignment.
• Develop high‑fidelity cost models, inflation indexes, market dashboards, and risk heatmaps to support regional capital planning.
• Lead supplier capability assessments, performance tracking, and governance mechanisms across APAC.
• Establish standardized processes, templates, and playbooks to enable rapid scaling of sourcing support during project surges.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of experience in capital construction procurement, category management, or large‑program commercial operations.
• Proven track record leading complex, multi‑package tenders for manufacturing, cleanroom, semiconductor, or advanced infrastructure projects.
• Strong leadership capability to build, mentor, and scale high‑performing teams.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders across functions and geographies.
