Senior Engineer – Customer Solutions (MP Modernisation)

About the role

The Senior Engineer – Customer Solutions (MP Modernisation) supports the sales team by providing technical expertise to design, sell, and implement KONE elevator products and services that meet client requirements. You will own the order handling process, from specification definition to delivery planning, while addressing technical queries from customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop technical proposals, AutoCAD layout drawings, and cost estimates for customer projects.
• Coordinate with sales, supply line, sourcing, and subcontractors to ensure specifications, delivery times, and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct site surveys, manage documentation, and oversee the ordering process to keep projects on schedule.
• Support tendering activities with technical and costing input, and handle post‑sale handover to operations.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering (or equivalent technical background).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in a technical role, preferably within the elevator industry.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects, control costs, and ensure safety and code compliance.

Required skills

• AutoCAD proficiency.
• Strong MS Office skills, including Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with SAP (preferred).
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.
