About the role
The Planning & QS Engineer will be responsible for quality assurance and control of construction works, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required standards.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate contractor payment applications and issue interim payment certificates.
- Track project costs against budget and manage variations and change orders.
- Develop and maintain the master schedule using Primavera P6 or MS Project, monitor progress and identify delays.
- Conduct look‑ahead planning, prepare progress, cost reports and dashboards for the client.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants and stakeholders, attend site meetings and support the Project Manager in decision‑making.
Required profile
- Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 9 years of experience in construction planning and quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of project cost control, schedule variance analysis and value engineering.
Required skills
- Primavera P6 or MS Project scheduling software.
- MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- AutoCAD and Revit.
