Senior Electrical Surveyor – Bangalore (Replacement)

About the role

Bureau Veritas, a global leader in testing, inspection and certification, is seeking a Senior Electrical Surveyor for its Bangalore office. The role involves performing electrical inspections in line with client and BV guidelines, ensuring compliance with ISO 17020 standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out electrical inspections independently or as part of a team, following SOPs and field instructions.
• Prepare comprehensive inspection reports that meet client and BV requirements.
• Manage station office operations when assigned, including documentation and equipment handling.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, managers, coordinators and factory representatives.
• Ensure confidentiality of information and compliance with the Code of Conduct.

Required profile

• University degree or diploma in Textile, Manufacturing, Quality Management, Engineering or related fields.
• 1‑3 years of inspection experience in buying offices or factories.
• Proficiency in English and the local language, both written and spoken.
• Strong interpersonal and time‑management abilities, with a high level of integrity.
• Willingness to travel extensively.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 17020 standards for inspection.
• Electrical inspection competency.
