Senior Team Member – Financial Reporting & Compliance

About the role

Tata Communications is seeking a detail‑oriented professional to manage fixed‑asset accounting and compliance for its international entities. The role involves end‑to‑end asset maintenance, month‑end closures, and reporting while coordinating with stakeholders across multiple geographies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full cycle fixed‑asset accounting, including acquisitions, disposals, replacements, and inter‑company transfers.
• Prepare journal entries, GL schedules, and ensure compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and internal controls.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closures, including general‑ledger reconciliations.
• Coordinate internal, statutory, and SOX audits and provide required data.
• Generate ad‑hoc, weekly, and monthly management reports.
• Assist the team leader with process documentation, data retrieval, and reconciliation projects.
• Facilitate asset disposal documentation, approvals, and accounting closure.

Required profile

• Graduate degree.
• 0–3 years of experience in finance or accounting.
• Understanding of financial processes, asset accounting, and relevant standards.

• SAP HANA
