Senior Tax Consultant – BFSI

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Tax Consultant to join our BFSI (Banking, Financial Services and Insurance) practice. You will work with corporate clients on tax compliance, advisory and regulatory matters, ensuring high‑quality service and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage corporate tax compliance timelines, including assessments, return filing, advance tax and TDS.
• Prepare income‑tax submissions, compile documentation for assessments and appellate matters, and represent clients before tax authorities.
• Conduct technical research on case laws, circulars and regulatory updates.
• Draft memos and presentations for advisory engagements.
• Support senior staff in business development and client pitching.
• Ensure accurate billing, follow‑up on client payments and TDS certificates.
• Coach junior team members on corporate tax concepts and best practices.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2‑3 years of corporate income‑tax experience.
• Strong analytical abilities and capacity to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and client‑management skills.
• Proactive attitude towards continuous learning and professional development.
• Commitment to adhere to the firm’s internal risk‑management policies.
