Senior Software Engineer – Cloud Solutions (Azure)

About the role

AVEVA is looking for a self‑driven Senior Software Engineer to design and build the cloud foundation of its industrial software portfolio. You will work on Microsoft Azure to deliver scalable, secure, high‑performance solutions that help customers reduce IT costs and accelerate digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure with focus on scalability, performance and security.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to deliver infrastructure and data solutions that meet business and compliance requirements.
• Evaluate system architecture, perform risk analysis and implement mitigation strategies.
• Apply secure development practices, support compliance activities and maintain technical documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers, review their work and guide routine issue resolution.
• Own project deliveries, procedures and designs within the role.

Required profile

• 7+ years of software development experience with C#/.NET, React.js, REST APIs and SQL Server.
• Hands‑on experience designing and implementing Azure cloud solutions.
• Strong understanding of microservice, IaaS/SaaS/PaaS architectures and security best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with architects, testers and cross‑functional teams.
