The Senior Sales Officer – Modern Trade (South) will expand Hershey’s presence across modern trade accounts, ensuring strong retail execution and achieving sales targets. This high‑energy position works closely with the market, turning strategic plans into actionable results and helping shoppers discover Hershey brands.

Key responsibilities

• Grow Hershey’s footprint in modern trade stores across the South region.
• Strengthen retail execution, merchandising, and brand availability.
• Drive primary and secondary sales, meeting account‑wise targets and growth plans.
• Build and maintain relationships with key retailers and channel partners.
• Coach the sales team on merchandising standards and modern trade concepts.
• Manage fill‑rate adherence, forecast analysis, and inventory norms.
• Oversee channel‑partner activities, including DMS implementation and damage‑claims clearance.
• Plan and execute company‑paid and unpaid activations on schedule.

Required profile

• Proven experience in modern trade sales within consumer‑goods environments.
• Strong relationships with modern trade stores and retail decision‑makers.
• Ability to translate sales plans into daily actions and achieve targets.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and objection‑handling skills.
