Senior Project Manager

About the role

Gradiant India Private Limited, a leader in advanced water and wastewater treatment solutions, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end delivery of mission‑critical projects for clients in sectors such as semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, lithium and renewable energy. Reporting to the General Manager or Vice President, the role oversees the full project lifecycle from contract initiation to financial close.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive project charters defining objectives, scope, deliverables, stakeholders and governance.
• Manage scope, cost, schedule and risk throughout the project, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, monitor milestones and implement corrective actions to avoid delays.
• Coordinate procurement, logistics and vendor management to guarantee timely delivery of equipment and services.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, communicating issues proactively to internal and external parties.
• Lead kickoff meetings with clients, set clear expectations and maintain ongoing stakeholder communication.
• Track project budgets, forecast costs and enforce financial discipline to achieve cash realization.
• Ensure receipt of project completion certificates and collaborate with finance to close projects efficiently.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in managing complex engineering or industrial projects.
• Strong ability to lead cross‑functional teams and coordinate multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical skills for trend analysis, forecasting and performance reporting.
• Experience in the water, wastewater or related high‑tech industries is a plus.
