Electrical Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to keep our facilities, utilities and mechanical equipment operating at peak performance. The role combines preventive maintenance planning, rapid repair response and coordination with internal teams and external contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute preventive maintenance (PM) programs for building infrastructure, HVAC, electrical, fire protection, security access, landscaping and other assets using the Max‑Maintenance portal.
• Perform or coordinate repairs on electrical, plumbing, mechanical and building fixtures across offices, workshops, warehouses and three company facilities.
• Process purchase requisitions, purchase orders and goods receiving to support maintenance and procurement planning.
• Monitor and evaluate cleaning, security and other facility service contractors against KPIs and contract terms.
• Maintain a safe, compliant work environment by adhering to NOV HSE policies, SOPs and relevant regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with a valid Electrical C‑License.
• Minimum five years of hands‑on experience in a heavy‑machinery environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and willingness to work overtime when required.

Required skills

• Electrical C‑License.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience using preventive maintenance software (e.g., Max‑Maintenance portal).
• Technical drawing interpretation.
• Knowledge of HSE regulations and safe work practices.
