About the role
NXP is hiring a Senior Principal Digital Design Engineer in Pune to work as a design engineer for wireless/communication ASIC development. The engineer defines and realizes digital functions on IPs, subsystems or IC level according to specifications, and is accountable for design quality and reliability.
Key responsibilities
- Design, verify and evaluate digital functions on IPs, subsystems or IC level, and participate in problem solving across the digital and system domains of the device.
- Deliver IP and support silicon validation.
- Work through the full ASIC design cycle, including RTL coding, verification, synthesis, timing closure, DFT and backend support, and silicon bring-up.
- Write design-specific documentation for internal and external use.
