Senior Murex MxTest Consultant

About the role

Luxoft has been engaged by a leading UK financial services organization to deliver Murex implementation services across a varied portfolio of projects. It is looking for an experienced Murex QA consultant with strong Murex knowledge and broad exposure to financial markets to join a multi-year program. The role is based in Gurugram, India, and is relocation friendly.

Key responsibilities

• Define the Murex test strategy and test cases for your squad's work
• Execute the agreed Murex test cases
• Analyze Murex test run outputs, identify and analyze issues and remediate them
• Design and automate test cases using MxTest
• Work in a team of Murex Test Analysts through ST and SIT, and collaborate with the business to execute UAT

Required profile

• 8 to 10 years of strong experience in a similar role
• Experience with markets trading systems, Murex, FX, IR and commodities (front-to-back testing)
• Murex MxTest/Onyx experience, both implementing and running tests
• Experience in software testing and technical business analysis
• Self-starter and independent, with excellent communication skills
• Nice to have: Agile testing experience

Required skills

• Mandatory: SQL and Unix
• Nice to have: Murex performance testing, DevOps tools such as GIT, Jenkins and JIRA, batch processing testing and Control-M
• English at B2 Upper Intermediate level
