Scrum Master

About the role

DXC Luxoft is looking for an experienced Scrum Master in Gurugram, India, with 10+ years of overall IT experience and strong expertise in Agile delivery. The role facilitates Scrum ceremonies, drives Agile best practices, removes impediments and works closely with Product Owners, development teams and stakeholders to deliver business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate all Agile ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives and Backlog Refinement.
• Coach and mentor teams on Scrum principles, Agile methodologies and continuous improvement.
• Work with Product Owners to maintain and prioritise product backlogs.
• Identify, track and remove impediments affecting team productivity and delivery.
• Monitor sprint progress, team velocity, burndown metrics and delivery health.
• Drive Agile maturity and coordinate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders and leadership on priorities.
• Support release planning and dependency management across teams.
• Prepare and present Agile metrics, status reports and delivery dashboards; support risk management and escalations.

Required profile

• 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years as a Scrum Master.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies for distributed and cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations and team dynamics.
• Preferred: experience in banking, financial services or enterprise digital transformation, exposure to cloud, microservices and DevOps, and experience supporting multiple Agile teams.
• Certifications such as CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master or equivalent preferred.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile, Kanban and SAFe.
• Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps or Rally.
• Understanding of SDLC, release management and software delivery processes.
