Senior Mobile App Developer (Android & iOS)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of cross‑platform SDKs that power our services inside third‑party applications. You will create high‑performance, lightweight libraries for both Android and iOS, ensuring they are easy to integrate and reliable at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build native SDKs from scratch using Kotlin (Android) and Swift (iOS).
• Design clean, idiomatic APIs that simplify integration for external developers.
• Optimize binary size, memory usage, and battery impact to keep the SDK footprint minimal.
• Manage SDK distribution via Maven Central, Swift Package Manager, CocoaPods, or XCFrameworks.
• Maintain strict backward compatibility, semantic versioning, and robust stability across thousands of host apps.
• Write technical integration guides, sample apps, and quick‑start repositories.
• Collaborate with backend teams on networking protocols (REST/gRPC) and with security teams to ensure data privacy.

Required profile

• Deep expertise in Kotlin (Coroutines, Flow, Android Jetpack) and Swift (async/await, Combine, Foundation, Network).
• Strong experience with multithreading, asynchronous programming, and secure data storage (Keychain, Encrypted Shared Preferences).
• Proven ability to build libraries with minimal external dependencies and apply Clean Architecture or SOLID principles.
• Hands‑on experience with Gradle (Kotlin DSL), Xcode build settings, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Bitrise).
• Developer empathy and clear technical writing skills.
