Senior Medical Reviewer

About the role

The Senior Medical Reviewer will act as a trusted compliance partner, guiding promotional and non‑promotional medical content from draft to approval. Working closely with Medical, Marketing, Regulatory, Legal and Compliance teams, you will ensure scientific accuracy while enabling rapid business execution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the US cross‑functional promotional review process to guarantee scientific accuracy, clinical relevance and balanced messaging across all formats.
• Assess clinical data, supporting evidence and promotional claims for alignment with approved labeling, FDA regulations and internal standards, and provide actionable guidance.
• Advise brand teams on messaging and claims, collaborating with Medical Affairs, Marketing, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance and Commercial partners.
• Identify complex issues, provide independent judgment and escalate to Medical Director or asset owners when needed.
• Utilize industry platforms such as Vault PromoMats, MedComms solutions and other content‑management tools to track and approve materials efficiently.
• Contribute scientific input to narratives, slide decks and launch‑related materials, setting high standards for clarity and impact.
• Drive quality and consistency in promotional communications and help shape processes that improve speed‑to‑approval.

Required profile

• Advanced scientific or healthcare degree (PharmD, MD, PhD, MPH, DDS/BDS or equivalent).
• 8–10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience with extensive US promotional review exposure.
• Proven participation in MLR/PRC review processes.
• Strong understanding of FDA promotional regulations and industry compliance standards.
• Experience reviewing promotional materials across multiple channels and formats.
• Clinical and healthcare systems expertise.
• Strategic problem‑solver with a solid business and project orientation.
