Junior Receptionist – Hospital Front Desk

About the role

The Hospital Junior Receptionist will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors at Apoorva Diagnostic & Healthcare in Bengaluru. Working full‑time on‑site, you will ensure a welcoming and orderly reception area while supporting the clinical and administrative teams.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, answer phone calls and respond to basic inquiries.
• Schedule, confirm and coordinate appointments using the hospital’s management system.
• Direct patients to the appropriate departments and manage front‑desk operations.
• Maintain and update patient records, manage files and assist with clerical tasks.
• Collaborate with medical and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow.

Required profile

• Professional demeanor with strong punctuality and confidentiality.
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in a healthcare or front‑desk role is an advantage.
• Fluency in English and local languages commonly used in Bengaluru preferred.

Required skills

• Excellent phone etiquette and clear communication.
• Customer‑service orientation with patience and professionalism.
• Basic computer literacy, including MS Office and hospital/appointment management software.
• Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail and capacity to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
