Senior Manager – Accounts (Manufacturing, Listed Company)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, governance‑focused senior manager to lead the accounting function of a listed manufacturing organization. The role holds end‑to‑end responsibility for accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial closures and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee periodic financial closing, ensuring timely month‑, quarter‑ and year‑end close in line with Ind AS, Companies Act and SEBI (LODR) standards.
• Conduct ledger scrutiny, approve accounting entries in SAP, and manage provisions, accruals and adjustments.
• Supervise Accounts Payable processes, vendor accounting, invoice processing, payments and reconciliations.
• Coordinate statutory, internal and tax audits, and ensure compliance with GST, SEBI and other regulations.
• Establish and monitor financial policies, SOPs and internal controls to meet listed‑entity governance requirements.
• Lead and develop the accounting team, setting performance expectations and fostering a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification, preferably cleared in the first attempt.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 7‑8 years of relevant experience, including mandatory experience in a listed company and a manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on exposure to SAP‑driven finance systems.
• Proven track record in financial closing, audit coordination and risk mitigation.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Ind AS, Companies Act, SEBI (LODR) and GST regulations.
• Expertise in SAP for accounting entry approval and reporting.
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable, financial reporting and taxation processes.
