Junior Cost Analyst for APAC Region

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Cost Analyst to join our Finance & Controlling team and support the development of a robust cost controlling function across the APAC region. You will work closely with Finance, Operations, Production, Purchasing and other business units to analyse cost structures, monitor performance and provide actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Support and continuously improve cost controlling processes and analyse cost structures to identify key drivers.
• Monitor operational costs—including production, personnel, overheads and external services—and prepare cost analyses for efficiency improvements.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, collect and validate cost planning data, and analyse variances.
• Prepare regular cost reports, develop and track cost‑related KPIs, and contribute to management presentations.
• Collaborate with Production, Purchasing and Operations to evaluate production efficiency, capacity utilisation and cost performance.
• Support cost‑reduction initiatives, track their financial impact and perform profitability and business‑case analyses for investment projects.
• Help optimise and automate controlling processes, improve data quality and use ERP systems and analytical tools for reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Approximately 2 years of professional experience in finance, controlling or cost analysis.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and communicate findings.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems for data extraction and reporting.
