Senior Lawyer

About the role

The firm is seeking an experienced Senior Lawyer to join its Mumbai office on a full‑time, on‑site basis. The role involves handling complex legal cases, drafting and reviewing a wide range of documents, and representing clients in court. The successful candidate will also mentor junior lawyers and collaborate with other legal professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead litigation matters, including courtroom representation and negotiation.
• Draft, review, and finalize contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and case law analysis to support client strategies.
• Provide expert legal advice on corporate, contract, and compliance issues.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Mentor and supervise junior legal staff, fostering professional development.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in law firms or corporate legal departments.
• Bar Council registration and a valid LLB; LLM is a plus.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
