Senior Inventory Management Executive

About the role

The Senior Inventory Management Executive will lead all inventory activities for high‑value, long‑lead and moisture‑sensitive components in an Electronics Manufacturing Services environment. The role ensures data integrity, on‑time kitting and compliance with quality standards while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Own perpetual inventory records in ERP and maintain ≥99% accuracy for high‑value components.
• Design and run weekly/monthly cycle‑count programmes for A‑, B‑ and C‑class parts and lead full physical stock‑takes.
• Investigate every variance, drive root‑cause corrective actions and enforce FIFO/LIFO/FEFO discipline.
• Manage bin location mapping, part‑number labelling, barcode/QR implementation and store layout optimisation.
• Control moisture‑sensitive (MSL) components, shelf‑life materials and ESD‑safe handling in line with IEC 61340‑5‑1 and J‑STD‑033.
• Ensure on‑time kitting for SMT, through‑hole and box‑build schedules and monitor shortage risks.
• Reconcile WIP, excess, scrap and finished‑goods inventory and maintain traceability for recall compliance.
• Publish regular MIS reports on inventory turns, ageing, fill‑rate and kit readiness.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years hands‑on experience in Electronics Manufacturing Services or contract‑manufacturing.
• Proven track record with high‑SKU environments (500+ active part numbers) and multi‑level BOMs.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to perform root‑cause analysis on dead‑stock and attrition.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality standards and customer‑specific requirements.

Required skills

• ERP / WMS systems (configuration, data integrity and barcode scanning rollout).
• Cycle‑count methodology and inventory accuracy techniques.
• MSL component storage and handling per J‑STD‑033.
• ESD‑safe handling practices (IEC 61340‑5‑1, ANSI‑ESD S20.20).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 compliance.
