Senior Executive

About the role

Apex Group, a global fund administration and middle office solutions provider founded in Bermuda in 2003, is hiring a Senior Executive. The role covers administrative, compliance and tax support for clients, including board documentation, document certification and statutory filings.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain proper records in line with internal and legal requirements.
• Convene director/shareholder meetings, prepare Board papers and verify minutes.
• Ensure final deliverables to clients are fully accurate and of high quality.
• Develop a clear understanding of each client's needs.
• Complete and follow up certification, notarisation, apostille and consularisation of documents on time.
• Maintain bank accounts, open new ones, initiate transfers and liaise with the bank.
• Prepare and file PAYE, TDS, VAT and Indian tax returns by statutory due dates; handle tax queries from MRA, clients and other authorities.
• Effect statutory filings with FSC, ROC and other bodies.
• Carry out customer due diligence under the AML Code and keep an updated CDD list.
• Coordinate the work of team members and ensure day-to-day tasks are done on time.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in the global business sector or an audit firm is an advantage.
• Degree, or substantially completed ACA or ACCA qualification or equivalent.
• Client service mindset, good written and spoken communication, and strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Able to multi-task, prioritise, meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Time management and organisation.
