Senior Engineer/Assistant Manager - Product Engineering

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Engineer/Assistant Manager in Product Engineering to lead development work packages and customer sub‑projects for conventional diesel fuel injection systems. The role is based in Bangalore and will focus on delivering high‑quality engineering solutions on time and within cost targets.

Key responsibilities

• Execute product development work packages and customer sub‑projects, ensuring adherence to time, quality and cost objectives.
• Manage series support and verify engineering deliverables according to BES_PE standards.
• Organise and lead project meetings with customers, providing technical alignment and status updates.
• Identify and communicate risks, contribute to technical issue resolution and improve development metrics.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of project management best practices and sustainable product development.
• Participate in product innovation initiatives and continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 1‑4 years of experience in product development, design, functional analysis or investigation.
• Exposure to project management work packages and series support activities.
• Good understanding of product development processes, engineering drawings and design standards.
