Senior Pipeline Integrity Engineer

About the role

The Senior Pipeline Integrity Engineer will provide technical leadership for subsea and pipeline integrity engineering, guiding junior engineers and ensuring high‑quality deliverables. The role involves supporting clients with inspection, maintenance and risk management of offshore and onshore pipelines, and contributing to strategic integrity processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical work on subsea/pipeline integrity, reviewing junior engineer output and ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
• Develop and maintain subsea/pipeline documentation, inspection strategies, and annual inspection plans.
• Coordinate third‑party inspection contractors, analyse monitoring data, and advise clients on integrity risks.
• Produce detailed reports, trend analyses and recommendations for repair strategies.
• Support business development, bid preparation and marketing activities.
• Undertake offshore site visits, surveys and promote innovative inspection technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Petroleum, Materials or Metallurgical Engineering.
• 4–8 years of subsea pipeline integrity management experience with oil & gas service providers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Mechanical engineering fundamentals.
• Corrosion management and mitigation strategies.
• Non‑Destructive Evaluation (NDE) techniques, including visual inspection.
• Subsea engineering practices and relevant codes of practice.
• Interpretation of P&IDs, isometrics and engineering drawings.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.
