Senior DevOps Engineer SAP SD (m/f/d)

About the role

Join BASF Digital Hub Hyderabad as a Senior DevOps Engineer focused on SAP SD. You will design, develop, and maintain digital solutions that support BASF's Order to Cash processes, ensuring high‑quality, cloud‑compliant applications.

Key responsibilities

• Gather requirements, create user stories, and design solution concepts.
• Configure and customize SAP SD applications, delivering enhancements and new functionalities.
• Develop applications using modern programming practices while adhering to BASF’s clean‑core and cloud compliance standards.
• Manage complex development environments with internal and external resources.
• Ensure solutions are runnable, supportable, and stable in collaboration with operations teams.
• Provide cost estimations, create functional solution design documents, and support testing and error correction.
• Assist technical consultants on functional topics, execute functional tests, and maintain user documentation.
• Handle escalated tickets, analyze issues, implement solutions, and train end users.
• Support change requests, effort estimations, and contribute to BASF’s digital roadmap.

Required profile

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
• 4‑6 years of experience with complex SAP applications, preferably SAP SD.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently in a global, diverse team.
