Senior Audio DSP Machine Learning Engineer

About the role

Logitech is hiring a Senior Audio DSP Machine Learning Engineer for its Hardware Audio ML and DSP Product team in Chennai. You will develop embedded audio machine learning models that create innovative audio experiences for customers, such as speech and audio enhancement.

Key responsibilities

• Train and develop highly optimized audio ML models for efficient deployment on resource-constrained embedded platforms (ARM, Tensilica DSP, RISC-V, NPUs)
• Use techniques such as quantization (PTQ and QAT) and pruning to enable effective on-device inference
• Optimize and improve algorithm performance in real-world conditions
• Work with the cross-functional product team to deliver a seamless customer audio experience

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in audio signal processing product teams, working hands-on with audio ML training
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in EE or CS with practical experience
• Experience with production-ready deep learning audio signal processing approaches for speech enhancement, noise suppression, acoustic echo cancellation and beamforming
• Proven experience designing and running subjective and objective audio quality evaluation protocols, and resolving audio artifacts in ML audio chains
• Excellent communication, documentation and leadership skills in cross-functional technical environments

Required skills

• Deep understanding of on-device quantization (post-training and training-aware) and mixed precision inference
• Strong programming in C and Python
