Security Team Leader

About the role

Soho House is seeking a Security Team Leader to ensure a safe, discreet, and welcoming environment for members and guests. You will combine vigilance with warmth, leading a team that protects the atmosphere of a creative, connected space.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and guide the security team across daily operations and shifts, setting standards for professionalism and discretion.
• Manage seamless access control for members, guests, visitors, and vendors in line with House policies.
• Maintain constant, unobtrusive awareness of the environment, ensuring safety without disrupting the member experience.
• Oversee CCTV monitoring, patrol routines, and all security systems with precision.
• Act as the calm first responder in incidents, emergencies, or sensitive situations, ensuring swift and composed resolution.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident and shift reports while maintaining confidentiality.
• Collaborate with Front of House and Operations teams during peak periods and events.
• Support training and development of the security team, fostering attentiveness and service mindset.
• Liaise with external authorities when required, representing the House with professionalism.

Required profile

• Prior experience in security supervision, preferably within luxury hospitality, premium clubs, or high‑end environments.
• A calm, composed presence with the ability to manage situations discreetly and authoritatively.
• Strong observational skills and instinctive awareness of people and surroundings.
• Natural leader who leads by example.
• Excellent communication with a respectful, service‑oriented approach.
• High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
