Cybersecurity Intern – Digital Security

About the role

Join Airbus India's Digital Security department as a Cybersecurity Intern. This 6‑month internship, starting in January 2027, offers hands‑on experience in enterprise security operations within a global aerospace leader.

Key responsibilities

• Assist daily cybersecurity operations, monitor security events, and support risk identification across IT systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams to track risk mitigation activities, support compliance reviews, and implement security best practices.
• Create security reports, dashboards, and documentation to communicate updates across functional groups.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder management and negotiation.
• Proactive, autonomous, and able to adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Fundamental understanding of cybersecurity concepts, networking fundamentals, and Windows/Linux operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of IT security principles, risk management, and frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools (MS Excel, Power BI) or scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for metric tracking and automation.
