About the role
You will join the Amazon Freight team in India as a Sales Representative, focusing on selling express line‑haul services to a variety of shippers. This individual contributor position requires you to develop and execute a sales strategy, build relationships with key decision‑makers, and drive revenue growth.
Key responsibilities
- Sell line‑haul services to shippers across sectors such as FMCG, e‑commerce, third‑party logistics, and consumer brands.
- Identify, qualify, and generate new sales opportunities and leads.
- Conduct sales presentations, negotiate terms, and close deals.
- Build and maintain relationships with enterprise‑level decision‑makers.
- Track, analyze, and report on sales performance metrics.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and best practices.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of proven sales experience, preferably in transportation or freight services.
- Strong understanding of the logistics and transportation industry.
- Ability to work independently with limited guidance and a proactive, problem‑solving attitude.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
