Sales Officer

About the role

Berlia Soap & Detergent Industries is seeking a dynamic Sales Officer to lead sales growth and expand its distribution network in Raiganj and surrounding areas. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, building strong trade relationships, and gathering market intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly and annual primary and secondary sales targets.
• Identify, appoint, and develop distributors in uncovered and potential markets.
• Expand retailer coverage to ensure deep market penetration.
• Maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key trade partners.
• Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence.
• Implement company sales and promotional strategies effectively.
• Conduct regular market visits to drive business growth.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in FMCG sales.
• Strong knowledge of the Raiganj and surrounding market.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
• Prior experience in the detergent industry is an added advantage.
