About the role

The Sales Manager – Direct Retail will execute sales operations through the direct channel (builders, connectors, brokers, references) in line with the branch plan and objectives. The role leads and supports the Sales Officer team, manages client relationships, coordinates with Risk, Operations and Sales Governance teams, and drives cross‑selling of ABHFL and ABC products.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute the sales plan for the direct retail channel and achieve branch targets.
  • Lead, coach and support the Sales Officer team to meet individual and collective goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with builders, brokers, connectors and other referral partners.
  • Coordinate with Risk, Operations and Sales Governance to ensure compliant and efficient sales processes.
  • Monitor portfolio health and take corrective actions to minimise delinquency.
  • Drive cross‑selling of housing finance, loan‑against‑property and construction finance solutions.
  • Report performance metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in sales within housing finance or related financial services.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team and achieve sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of retail and builder customer segments.
  • Good knowledge of risk, compliance and portfolio management processes.
  • Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
