About the role
We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead our health insurance sales team in Indore. You will be responsible for driving sales performance across assigned territories and channels, while ensuring high customer satisfaction and policy renewal rates.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, manage and motivate a team of sales executives to achieve defined health insurance sales targets.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and increase policy renewals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers and corporate partners.
- Monitor team performance, conduct regular training sessions and provide coaching on product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, documentation standards and internal processes.
- Maintain accurate sales reports and management information system (MIS) data.
Required profile
- Proven experience in leading sales teams within the health insurance sector.
- Strong understanding of insurance products, sales cycles and renewal processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and drive strategic decisions.
