Retail Salesperson – Mattress & Home Décor

About the role

TMH (The Mattress Hub) is looking for a full‑time, on‑site Retail Salesperson to join its store in Pollachi. You will be the first point of contact for customers seeking mattresses, carpets and rugs, helping them find the right products for a comfortable home.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, assess their needs and recommend suitable mattresses, carpets and rugs.
• Explain product features, benefits and brand‑specific details.
• Demonstrate product options and guide customers through the selection and purchase process.
• Maintain attractive store displays and ensure products are well presented.
• Handle billing, POS transactions and basic documentation.
• Support inventory checks and after‑sales queries.
• Contribute to achieving individual and store sales targets.

Required profile

• Strong retail sales aptitude with a focus on meeting targets.
• Good product knowledge of mattresses, carpets and rugs, or willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Team‑player attitude and collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• POS (Point of Sale) operation and basic computer proficiency.
