Restaurant Manager

About the role

The company operates F&B cafés within backpacker hostels across Kerala and is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations of an 80‑100 cover outlet. The role involves ensuring smooth guest experiences, maintaining service standards, and coordinating with kitchen staff.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests courteously, escort them to tables and assist with QR‑based menu scanning.
• Facilitate seamless ordering of food and beverages, providing menu guidance as needed.
• Ensure timely service of meals, attend to guest requests, and uphold cleanliness of dining areas.
• Collaborate with kitchen personnel to guarantee prompt order delivery.
• Promote specials and up‑sell menu items.
• Handle customer grievances professionally and resolve complaints.
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.

Required profile

• Diploma in hotel management or a related hospitality qualification.
• Minimum two years of experience in hotels, hostels, guest houses, restaurants, cafés or QSR environments.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and time‑management abilities.
• Willingness to relocate anywhere in southern India.
• High attention to detail.
