Quality Engineer – Lab Testing & Standards

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Engineer with strong expertise in laboratory testing to support our manufacturing operations. The role involves ensuring that all mechanical, metallurgical, and chemical tests are performed in compliance with national and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct mechanical, metallurgical and chemical testing in the lab.
• Prepare detailed test reports and maintain documentation such as QAP, MPP, MSTP and SOP.
• Plan testing activities and coordinate with customers, third‑party inspection agencies and internal departments.
• Review heat‑treatment charts and oversee machining and furnace operations.
• Manage calibration activities with external agencies to ensure equipment accuracy.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of ASTM, ASME, DIN, ISO and IS testing standards.
• Experience handling machine shop and heat‑treatment processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions and with external partners.
• Attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
