Quality Coordinator

About the role

IFF, a global leader in food, beverage, health, biosciences and sensorial experiences, is looking for a highly motivated, results-driven Quality Coordinator to join its Production Team at Sri City. The role covers analytical and quality control testing, quality assurance leadership and continuous improvement in the laboratory.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and oversee analytical and quality control tests to ensure product quality, safety and regulatory compliance.
• Support research and development by providing accurate analytical data and technical recommendations.
• Drive continuous improvement in laboratory practices, testing methods and instrument performance.
• Lead quality assurance activities, internal audits and compliance with GMP, GLP, HACCP and company standards.
• Partner with R&D, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality and Regulatory Affairs teams.
• Mentor laboratory technicians and foster a culture of safety, quality and operational excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Food Science or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in Quality Control, Analytical Chemistry or Laboratory Operations in the Flavors, Fragrances, Food, Chemical or FMCG industry.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities and communicate across global teams.
• Flavors and fragrances experience, knowledge of fragrance and flavor ingredients and raw material regulations, and experience leading laboratory improvement projects, audits, CAPA programs and compliance activities are a strong advantage.

Required skills

• Hands-on expertise in GC, GC-MS, method validation, instrument maintenance, troubleshooting and data interpretation.
• Sound knowledge of GMP, GLP, HACCP, quality systems and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with SAP, ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
