Quality Assurance Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead our Quality Management System (QMS) and drive continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations in Goa. The role requires a results‑driven leader who can ensure compliance with ISO standards while enhancing product quality and process efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead QA and QC activities for incoming, in‑process, and finished products.
• Maintain and improve the QMS in line with ISO 9001 requirements.
• Manage customer quality, supplier quality, CAPA, root‑cause analysis, and audit programs.
• Conduct internal, external, and customer audits to ensure compliance.
• Monitor quality KPIs such as complaints, rejection rates, supplier performance, and cost of poor quality.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to boost product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the quality team.

Required profile

• 12‑15 years of quality management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience handling customer audits, certification audits, and quality improvement projects.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems.
• Hands‑on experience with RCA, 8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA, CAPA, APQP, and PPAP.
• Experience in customer and supplier quality management.
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
