Team Leader – Facility Maintenance

About the role

Continental Group’s ContiTech division in Pune is seeking a Team Leader to oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of plant facilities, utilities and building equipment. The role involves managing a diverse set of systems, ensuring safety compliance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical (high- and low-voltage), MHE, exhaust & ventilation, ETP/STP, DG, chillers, cooling towers, UPS, transformers and fire protection systems.
• Plan and execute installation, upgrade and energy-optimization projects while monitoring KPI metrics such as MTTR, MTBF and OEE.
• Manage spare parts inventory, budgeting, and cost-control activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, QMS/IATF audits and government approvals.
• Lead shift manpower planning, vendor and AMC management, and support Kaizen/TPM initiatives.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 6-9 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work flexible shifts as required.
• Electrical Supervisor License is an added advantage.
