Mechanical Maintenance Team Member

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Team Member to support the production of PVC foils used in automotive interiors. The role involves maintaining plant equipment, ensuring safety compliance, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, corrective and breakdown maintenance on plant machinery, diesel generators, cooling towers, exhaust & ventilation systems, and material handling equipment.
• Plan, receive, and monitor spare parts inventory; prepare purchase requests and manage spare part stores.
• Execute root‑cause analysis, update equipment history cards, and maintain MTTR, MTBF and KPI records.
• Coordinate with AMC vendors for breakdowns and scheduled maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with IATF‑16949, OHSAS, ISO 50001 and local safety regulations, including lock‑out/tag‑out and confined‑space procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 2‑4 years of experience in plant mechanical maintenance, preferably in polymer or printing industries.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts as required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and AutoCAD files.

Required skills

• Maintenance and troubleshooting of plant machines, diesel generators, cooling towers, and ventilation systems.
• Spare parts management and inventory control.
• Preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance techniques.
• Root‑cause analysis, MTTR/MTBF calculation and KPI tracking.
• Hydraulic, chiller, fan motor, pump and electric control system maintenance.
• Familiarity with IATF‑16949, OHSAS and ISO 50001 standards.
